1.1 This specification covers lead-coated and lead-alloy-coated, round, soft or annealed copper wire for electrical purposes. 1.2 The SI values for density and resistivity are to be regarded as the standard. For all other properties the inch-pound values are to be regarded as the standard and the SI units may be approximate. 1.3 The hazard statement applies only to Section 6, Test Methods of this specification.
