The AD7660 is the first of a new generation of 16-bit ADCs, delivering true 16-bit performance at a very low cost. The new generation is based on the Pulsar core, a true breakthrough architecture, that powers the industry's fastest and most accurate SAR ADCs. With no pipeline delay, the AD7660 is ideally suited for industrial process control, multiplexed data acquisition systems, interfacing with DSP chips, portable equipment and medical instrumentation. It boasts 90 dB SINAD, a -96 dB THD @ 10 kHz and DC precision at 16 bits (No Missing Codes). INL is ±3 LSB Max, DNL is 1.75 LSB max. Power dissipation is only 21 mW typical at 100 kSPS, and only 21 µW @ 100 SPS.
