Anritsu Company Spectrum Analyzer MS610C

Description
The MS610C is a 2 GHz spectrum analyzer from Anritsu. A spectrum analyzer measures the power of spectrums of known and unknown signals. Spectrum analyzers collect information such as the magnitude of an input signal compared to its frequency. As a frequency analyzer, spectrum analyzers’ main use is to document and analyze electrical input signals as well as spectral compositions of other signals. This tool’s spectral analysis involves signals such as optical light waves and acoustic pressure waves. Additional Features: Frequency range: 9 kHz to 2 GHz Input Impedance: 50 Ohm Sweep Time: 10 ms-10s Resolution Bandwidth: 1 kHz-1 MHz Resolution Bandwidth Steps: 1/3/10 Video Bandwidth: 100 Hz-10 kHz Video Bandwidth Steps: 1/10/100 Maximum Single-Side-Band Noise: -70 dBc/Hz Maximum Safe AC Input: 20 dBm Maximum DC Input: 100 V Maximum Displayed Average Noise: -115 dBm Maximum Amplitude Uncertainty: 1.5 % Trigger Modes: Freerun,TTL Connector type (main signal): Type-N(f) Cal Output Connector Type: BNC(f) The Anritsu MS610C spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Anritsu MS610C. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).
