BLF1043 is a 10W LDMOS power transistor designed for RF power amplifiers in base station applications from HF to 1000 MHz. It is housed in a ceramic SMD package (SOT538A) with dimensions up to 7.49 mm in length, 5.16 mm in width, and 2.34 mm in height. The device operates with a drain-source voltage up to 65 V, and exhibits a typical power gain of 18.5 dB and efficiency of 40% at 960 MHz, 26 V drain voltage, and 85 mA quiescent current. It supports continuous wave and two-tone operation with intermodulation distortion below -31 dBc, and is rugged enough to withstand a 10:1 VSWR load mismatch. Thermal resistance from junction to heatsink is 9 K/W. The transistor is suitable for GSM, EDGE, and CDMA systems and features no internal matching for broadband operation.
