Class F, PT Series Straight Plug Connectors, Solder Socket & Pin Contact
The connectors are individually packaged with the crimp contacts included in the package. Rear insertable/front release contacts are held in position by an MS approved spring tower retention system. Insert configurations are the same as for the PT-Series. Materials: Shell Components: Aluminum. Finish: Corrosion resistant, electrically conductive cadmium plate with an olive drab chromate after treatment insert and main joint gasket resilient neoprene. Contacts: Machined copper alloy — gold plated. Closed entry socket contacts. Service Classes: E — Open wire sealing — environmental resisting multi-hole grommet and clamping nut for moisture proofing individual open wires. F — Environmental resistant strain relief clamp and grommet for moisture proofing individual wires provides added wire bundle support.
Pins and sockets are machined from a copper alloy and are gold plated. This gold plating eliminates contact corrosion and offers an indefinite shelf life. Socket contacts are a closed entry design. Environmental resisting connectors with strain relief.
