CIRCULAR CONNECTOR, PLUG, 14S-2, CABLE; MILITARY SPECIFICATION:MIL-DT

Materials. Shells : High Grade Aluminum Alloy. Electrically conductive cadmium plate finish with olive drab chromate after treatment. Contacts : Solder Type. Pins and sockets are machined from copper alloy with a silver plate finish. Inserts : Resilient neoprene. Receptacles with pin contacts mate with plugs with socket contacts.
Recommended for new design applications. Environment resistant assembly. Shorter and lighter weight than classes E/F. O ring at the main joint in MS3106R plugs provide a main joint seal.
