Electrically conductive cadmium plate finish with olive drab chromate after treatment. Contacts : Solder Type. Pins and sockets are machined from copper alloy with a silver plate finish. Inserts : Resilient neoprene. Receptacles with pin contacts mate with plugs with socket contacts.
MS-E/F Environmental Resisting. Class E and F — with stain relief. Designed for applications where the connector will be exposed to moisture, vibration, and rapid changes in temperature.
Not threaded for a strain relief cable clamp.
MS Class F connectors satisfy all the performance requirements of MIL-DTL-5015. Class E, environmental is also produced, but is no longer listed on the qualified products listing (QPL). These connectors are recommended for conditions where vibration, mois
