The Dsub Machined Signal connector features straight screw terminals and is designed for a maximum current rating of 7.5 A and a voltage rating of 300 V RMS at 50 Hz. It complies with MIL C24308 and NFC 93425-HE5 standards. The connector's shell is made of steel with a bright tin plating, while the insulator is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated UL 94V-0. The contacts are machined brass for the plug and machined bronze for the socket, both with full gold plating. This connector operates effectively within a temperature range of -55¬8C to +85¬8C, with a peak temperature of 125¬8C. It has a high insulation resistance of over 5000 M,Ѷ at 500 V DC and a low contact resistance of less than 5 m,Ѷ. The connector is suitable for solid or stranded cables with a maximum gauge of 0.75 mm (AWG 18). It supports up to 100 mating cycles for class II and 500 for class I applications.
