The HDOD Series delay-on-dropout time delay relay is a solid-state device with DPDT (2 form C) relay contacts rated for 4 amperes, designed to initiate a timing cycle upon removal of input power. It features a built-in adjustable timing potentiometer with a 10-second range among other options, and operates on 12 VDC input with 2 VA power consumption. The relay has epoxy-sealed housing, 1/4 inch quick-connect terminals, and flat panel mounting with dimensions of 2.5 by 0.75 inches. It is rated for ambient temperatures from -40°C to 65°C, with contact ratings of 1000 VA and 90W resistive load, and meets UL/CSA ratings of 4A at 125/250V AC and 3A at 30V DC. The initial dielectric strength is 1500V RMS between contacts and coil. Mechanical life is 100 million operations; electrical life is 200,000 operations at 3A 30V DC.
