These mats are able to shield employees by insulating them against extremely high voltage. • Corrugated Switchboard matting conforms to ANSI/ASTM D-178-01. • These mats can insulate against as much as 30,000 volts (1/4" thick mat), 40,000 volts (3/8" thick mat) or 50,000 volts (1/2" thick mat) of electricity. • The 1/4" thickness meets Type II, Class 2 requirements. • The 3/8" thickness meets Type II, Class 3 requirements. This thickness is only available in 45' and 75' rolls. • The 1/2" thickness meets Type II, Class 4 requirements. This thickness is only available in 30' rolls.
