The MVT-259 is a fixed PCB terminal block from Altech Corp. designed for 5.08mm pin spacing. It features a modular design with screw-cage clamps, suitable for reliable connections in various applications. The terminal block supports a current rating of 16A at 450V and accommodates wire sizes ranging from 30 to 14 AWG for stranded wires and up to 2.5mm¬= for solid wires. The body is made from polyamide, ensuring durability, while the screws are galvanized steel, providing corrosion resistance. The product meets UL94V-0 flammability standards and operates effectively within a temperature limit of 105¬8C. The MVT-259 is available in multiple pole configurations, making it versatile for different circuit requirements.

Altech printed circuit board terminal blocks give you highly dependable connections without the need for wire lugs. Choose either tubular screw clamps or box clamps when economy is paramount or screw-cage clamps for heavy-duty applications. In each case, simply strip and insert the wire and tighten the screw. We recommend the use of ferrules, especially for export applications and whenever fine stranded wires must be terminated.
