The MVE-258 is a fixed PCB terminal block with a pin spacing of 5.00mm, designed for vertical orientation. It features a modular design and utilizes a box clamp for secure wire connections. The terminal block supports a current rating of 10A at 300V and 17.5A at 450V, accommodating wire sizes from 30 to 16 AWG for stranded wires and up to 2.5mm¬= for solid wires. The body is made from polyamide, ensuring durability, while the screws are galvanized steel, providing reliable fastening. The product meets UL94V-0 flammability standards and has a temperature limit of 105¬8C. The MVE-258 is available in various pole configurations, making it suitable for diverse applications in printed circuit board designs.

Altech printed circuit board terminal blocks give you highly dependable connections without the need for wire lugs. Choose either tubular screw clamps or box clamps when economy is paramount or screw-cage clamps for heavy-duty applications. In each case, simply strip and insert the wire and tighten the screw. We recommend the use of ferrules, especially for export applications and whenever fine stranded wires must be terminated.
