FIT Heat Shrink Tubing, part number FITFAB-4, is designed for applications requiring reliable protection and sealing of terminations. Constructed from polyethylene and polyester fabric, it features a minimum supplied inner diameter of 1.575 inches and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.787 inches, with a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.040 inches. The tubing is black in color and offers a shrink ratio of approximately 2:1. This product operates effectively within a temperature range of -40¬8C to 125¬8C, with a full recovery temperature of 135¬8C. It has a shelf life of 25 years when stored between 18¬8C and 35¬8C. FITFAB-4 is compliant with UL specifications and is flame retardant, meeting MVSS 302 standards. Additionally, it adheres to the EU RoHS Directive and does not contain substances of very high concern as per REACH regulations. The tubing is halogen-free and lead-free, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive applications.
