Alpha Wire Heat Shrink Tubing, 1/16 in., 0.010 in., 2 to 1 @ 175 degC, -55 degC to 175 deg FIT3501/16 CL062

Description
Shrinkable Irradiated Kynar Tubing, Transparent Color Choose FIT® 350 Preferred Heat Shrink Products for their chemical resistance, tensile strength, and excellent flame retardancy and heat resistance characteristics. FIT® 350 Preferred Heat Shrink Products chemical resistant qualities make FIT® 350 Preferred Heat Shrink Products non-corrosive, and are resistant to fungus growth and chemicals such as solvents, JP4, Oxidants, strong acids and bases. FIT® 350 Preferred Heat Shrink Products are 3 times the tensile strength of standard polyolefin! Tensile Strength is 5000 psi, (352 KG/cm2) with ultimate elongation at 150%. Longitudinal shrinkage is -10%. FIT® 350 Preferred Heat Shrink Products excellent heat resistance gives a faster recovery time than Teflon, so that use with high temperature wire and caustic environments is no problem. FIT® 350 Preferred Heat Shrink Products are transparent, thin-walled, high temperature, flame-retardant tubing which are excellent for installations requiring high resistance to abrasion and cut-through. Allows easy inspection of covered components. The tubing shrinks to 50% of supplied diameter at 175°C, longitudinal shrinkage -10%. Semi-rigid, chemical resistant and self-extinguishing. Does not support fungus growth. Operating Temperature: –55°C to +175°C. Tensile Strength: 5000 psi, nominal. 4’ lengths are available by special order. 3 times the Tensile Strength of Standard Polyolefin Chemical Resistance Excellent Flame Retardancy Self Extinguishing Excellent Heat Resistance Shrinkage ratio is 2 to 1 at 175 DegC Non Corrosive Fungus Resistant Water Absorption 0.5% UL Standard 224 CSA Standard 198 MIL-DTL-23053/8C Passes UL VW-1 Flame Test and CSA OFT Flame Test Rohs Compliant Xtra Guard 4 Applications
