Heat Shrink Tubing, 1500 psi Tensile Strength, 500 V⁄mil Dielectric Strength When heated, the outer jacket shrinks and the inner wall melts and flows. The result is semi-rigid tubing with an inner wall that seals and provides tough mechanical protection. The tubing shrinks to 15% to 40% of the supplied diameter depending on the size at 135°C. Longitudinal shrinkage is 10% nominal. Non-flame retardant. Does not support fungus growth. Operating Temperature: –55°C to 110°C. Tensile Strength: 1500 psi nominal. All sizes available in black, but only one additional color is available for each size (see right). For 6" lengths, insert ‘5’ where N appears in the stock number.
