Human Dopamine Receptor 2 (D2R) (L) Control/blocking peptide # 4
General Information
Dopamine is an endogenous catecholamine that influences many cellular activities, including behavior, hormone synthesis and release, blood pressure and intracellular ion transport. A family of at least 5 Dopamine Receptors (DR) genes, D1-D5, have been ide
SugApplications
Control or blocking peptides are recommended for ELISA plate coating for direct ELISA testing of antibodies or competitive ELISA, and antibody blocking or neutralization.
SpeciesReactivity
Human
Form
Antigen/blocking Peptide
Antigen
19-aa peptide of Human D2R ; Designated (D2R14-P or control peptide) conjugated to KLH. Epitope location ~ N-terminal, Extracellular
SpCrossreactivity
The human D2R14-P peptide is specific for D2R. No significant sequence homology is seen with other dopamine receptors (D1 and D3-D5). Human D2R14-P peptide is 100% homologous with rat, mouse, monkey, chimpanzee, 94% in canine, 84% in ferret and bovine D2R. Antibody crossreactivity with D2 receptors from various species is not known
