The antigen coated on the plate is from marine gastropod Megathura crenulata, the Californian giant keyhole limpet also known as hemocyanin or KLH. Antibodies to hemocyanins from other animals have not been tested. The anti-goat KLH conjugate used in this kit is not specific to any antibody isotype. It will detect total anti-KLH Ig?s (IgG+A+M).
