Advanced Energy's UltraVolt XS series of regulated DC-to-DC supplies provides modest high voltage power in a convenient, micro-size package.
Maximum Output Voltage/Power: 0.1 kV DC/0.1 W
Type: Single output
Ripple: < 500 ppm (0.05 Vpp)
Control Interface: Analog
Temperature Coefficient: 50 ppm/⁰C
Our XS series is the smallest regulated DC-to-DC high voltage power supply. Designed for applications that require bias voltage ranging from 0 to 100 V. Only 1.3 cm3 (0.081 in3) and 5 g (0.17 oz), this module is ideal for applications where portability, weight, and space are at a premium.
From a 5 VDC input, the XS series provides 0 to 100 VDC of single-output voltage, and up to 0.1 W (100 mW) of power. Available in positive or negative output polarities. Control voltage output with overcurrent protection and 0 to 2.5 VDC analog interface.
Benefits
Meet design requirements for size and weight
Deliver better performance and temperature stability than proportional-control power supplies
Simplify control using board-level signals (0 to 2.5 VDC)
Increase power subsystem robustness and reliability
Protect against external RF and EMI noise
Features
Small, lightweight, PCB-mountable package (1.3 cm3; 5 g)
Output ripple < 100 ppm, with Temperature Coefficient < 50 ppm/⁰C
Analog interface with output voltage control
Integrated overcurrent protection
Tin-plated metal enclosure
