Advance Security Products Deluxe Smoke Detector Hard Wired

Description
The Smoke Detector Hidden Camera is not for everyone. It has special requirements. Just like all hard wired hidden cameras it requires power and a video cable, but you also need access to above the ceiling for a clean installation. Applications where you have access to an unfinished attic or where ceiling tile is used is ideal. Usually a small hole in the ceiling is required. Hidden Video Camera in a real smoke detector housing. Ideal for over a cash register, view down hallways, motel lobbies, and the list goes on. All Smoke Detectors are non-functioning. All hidden cameras require power, including the smoke detector. You must be able to access your ceiling to connect power. The smoke detector cameras on this page are hard-wired models and require you to run wire from the smoke detector all the way to your TV, VCR, or DVR. If you wish to have wireless smoke detector, click here. These cannot be used with batteries unless you have access to locate a battery on top of ceiling. Depending on the battery you may attain 24 hours of operation. Actual smoke detector may vary slightly from photo. Ideal for installation with ceiling tile or drop ceiling since a hole is required to run wire for power. Smoke detector cameras are available in bottom view or side view. The bottom view shoots straight out (see picture above). The side view sees at approximately a 45 degree angle (see picture above). The model you want depends on where it will be placed and what you're trying to see. For example, if you're trying to see a cash register, you'd probably want the bottom view and then mount it directly over the cash register. The camera will shoot straight down at the register. If you're trying to view a room or hallway, you'll probably want the side view. The hard wired versions come with 25 ft. power video cable. You may require longer cables to reach your recording device. You can use your computer to record by using one of our DVR cards. Hard Wired Models require a video cable between the hidden camera and recording device 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD Dual Mode Color Camera: .1 Lux, B/W: .001 Lux Automatic Dual Mode Day/Night Switching 3.7mm Lens, 480 lines True Color resolution 850nm infrared compatible S/N ratio over 48db Electronic Shutter 1/60~1/100,000 Sec, Scanning System 2:1 Interlaced Internal Sync, Auto White Balance 120ma power consumption 12 v..
