The Elliott Slip Joint is designed to accommodate changes in length of remote systems due to thermal motion, vibration or other reasons causing relative movement between the valve and the operator system. They are available in a range of sizes to fit 5/8 inch to 11/4 inch rods. They are fabricated from carbon steel except for the square bearing adaptor which is made from bronze.
