Description: Laminated glass is created by layering two or more pieces of glass together with a transpassive interlayer, such as PVB (polyvinyl butyral). When broken the interlayer holds the glass together, providing increased strength and safety. Laminated glass is used in automobiles, architecture, and bulletproofing. Abrisa can fabricate the laminated glass to custom sizes for a wide variety of applications including automobile and vehicular displays where passenger safety is as critical as the optical performance of the cover glass.
