The EF460, EF750, and E1250DU are self-supplied electronic overload relays for motor protection against overload and phase failure, with selectable trip classes 10E, 20E, or 30E. The EF460 covers 150 to 500 A, the EF750 250 to 800 A, and the E1250DU 375 to 1250 A. They operate from 600 V AC under UL/CSA and up to 1000 V AC under IEC standards, with an operating temperature range of -25 to +70 °C and a maximum altitude of 2000 m. Built-in auxiliary contacts include one N.C. and one N.O., rated at 5 A under UL/CSA and 6 A under IEC. Terminals accept rigid or flexible wires from 0.75 to 4 mm², with M3.5 screws tightened to 0.8-1.2 Nm. The housing is IP20 rated and certified to UL 508, CSA 22.2 No. 14, IEC/EN 60947-1, and IEC/EN 60947-4-1.
Description
The EF460 up to E1250DU are self-supplied electronic overload relays, which means no extra external supply
is needed. It offers reliable protection for motors in the event of overload or phase failure. Easy to use like
a thermal overload relay and compatible with standard motor applications, the electronic overload relay is
convincing, above all, due to its wide setting range, high accuracy, high operational temperature range and
the possibility to select a trip class (10E, 20E, 30E). Further features are the temperature compensation, trip
contact (N.C.), signal contact (N.O.), automatic or manual reset selectable, trip-free mechanism, STOP and
TEST function and a trip indication. Busbar kits are available as accessory for contactor mounting.
