The CM-UFD Series comprises grid feeding monitoring relays designed to disconnect distributed generation from the public grid during voltage or frequency anomalies. The devices monitor single- and three-phase AC systems (2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire), with configurable thresholds for over- and undervoltage (including 10-minute average), over- and underfrequency, ROCOF, and vector shift. They feature three SPDT output relays, three control inputs for feedback and remote trip, a backlit LCD display, error memory for 99 entries, and password protection. The relay operates from a control supply of 24-240 V AC/DC and measures line-to-line voltage up to 550 V AC and line-to-neutral up to 317 V AC. It meets pre-settings for G98/1 and G99/1 standards and is suitable for low and medium voltage applications.

The multifunctional grid feeding monitoring relays of the CM-UFD range are designed to monitor several grid parameters when feeding energy into the public grid. The intention is to trip a section switch which is connected between the distributed generation and the public grid in order to disconnect the distributed generation in case of problems (e.g. unstable grid), faults or maintenance on the grid. Different monitoring functions such as 10-minutes average value, real time over- and undervoltage as well as over- and under-frequency are configurable via the front face display.
