Application: This specification applies to expanded, 0.9 density x 0.004” Yellow PTFE Thread Seal Tape supplied on finished spools. High Density Yellow Gas Line Thread Seal Tape is recommended for use on most threaded connections of pressurized gas systems including ethane, butane, and propane. This product may also be used on pressurized liquid systems. General Appearance: The tape appears pale yellow in color. It shall be free of visible voids, cracks, folds, contamination, and have consistent physical properties. Meets or exceeds MIL Spec T-27730A and is UL listed.
