The RC 6 chemistry-HYBRIDTM pump is a combination of a two-stage rotary vane pump and a two-stage chemistry diaphragm pump providing 10-3 mbar vacuum with optimized corrosion resistance. The diaphragm pump keeps the oil reservoir under vacuum to continuously distill solvent vapors from the pump oil and significantly reduce the concentration of oxygen and corrosive gases in the pump oil. This reduces oil changes needs by 90 percent or more compared with roary vane pumps.
