Universal Wire Works Inc. Coated Electrode Alloy 55

Description
Universal nickel alloy 55 is designed to arc weld cast iron, malleable iron, ductile iron, and Ni-Resist as well as welding cast irons to steel and high nickel alloys. Alloy 55 is also used for welding high phosphorous irons and casting that have heavy or thick sections. Castings can be welded without preheat, however a more machinable deposit and less stresses will be built up in the welding zone if a preheat of 400 degrees is used. Alloy 55 can be used in all positions with either AC or DCRP.
