The RTD/Style 42 is a resistance temperature detector with a sheath, leadwire, and protective Teflon® sleeve for temperature sensing in industrial applications. It is available in single or dual element configurations with sheath diameters of 3/16 inch or 1/4 inch, constructed of 316 stainless steel, and operates within a temperature range of -45 to 260°C. The sensor uses a platinum 100 Ω DIN 0.00385 element with 2, 3, or 4-wire construction, offering accuracies of ±0.01%, ±0.06%, or ±0.12% at 0°C. The Teflon® insulated leadwire extends beyond the sleeve, with customizable lengths for both sheath and leadwire.
