Tanis offers Anilox brushes, also known as Halftone brushes, produced by densely filling a solid water-resistant hardwood block with a clear lacquer finish. Our Anilox brushes are made from the highest quality materials to assure a consistent brushing action and a greater brush life.
Tanis offers these brushes in three product categories including anilox, large anilox and anilox finishing brushes. The brushes are available with stainless steel, brass, horse hair, nickel silver, bristle and nylon filaments and various block sizes and trim lengths.
These brushes are used in the flexographic industry to regularly clean anilox ink rollers. When cleaning a stainless steel roller, a brass brush is most effective and a stainless steel brush should be used to clean ceramic rollers. Nylon, horse hair and pure bristle provide different grades of stiffness for lighter cleaning.
