The DC-DC converter is a type of switching power supply that converts direct currents of buslines into direct currents that are needed for devices. The lineup of DC-DC converters by TDK-Lambda also includes isolated and non-isolated types to meet various applications along with onboard, power module and unit types and a wide range of industry-standard sizes from brick-shaped to inch-sized.

These DIN rail mount DC-DC converters are ideal for generating additional, isolated and regulated voltages from the common used 24Vdc DIN rail bus. Fully protected and with Class B EMC performance, the DPX is available with single, dual or triple output models and power levels from 15 to 60W. All commonly requested voltages are covered by the series, and the units will operate from 12V, 24V or 48V nominal dc inputs with either 2:1 or 4:1 ranges.
