The 500A series is a high voltage capacitor charging power supply for OEM use, delivering 500W continuous and 550J/sec peak power. Output voltage ranges from 1kV to 40kV; the 5kV variant has fixed negative polarity. It features an air-cooled case measuring 146mm wide, 141mm high, and 361mm deep, weighing 12kg without optional Active PFC. Accepts 110VAC or 230VAC input, with efficiency greater than 85% and stability of ±0.2% per hour after warmup. Output for 1-6kV models uses an MHV connector and RG58/U cable. Remote control is via a 15-pin D-sub with analog programming and fault signals. Pulse-to-pulse repeatability is ±0.2% up to 300Hz. Stored energy is less than 0.3J. Certified to UL60601-1. The series is no longer available, with orders accepted through January 2023.
