The 500A series is a high voltage capacitor charging power supply designed for OEM applications, offering output voltages from 1kV to 40kV and continuous DC power of 500W. The 500A-40kV-POS variant provides a fixed positive 40kV output, oil-insulated with a DS2024 silicone lead and proprietary HV connector, housed in a compact air-cooled package measuring 146mm wide, 141mm high, and 361mm deep, weighing 14kg with optional Active PFC. It supports selectable 110VAC or 230VAC input, achieves better than 85% efficiency, and meets UL60601-1 medical safety standards. Remote control is provided via a 15-pin D-sub connector with signals for programming, enable, inhibit, and fault monitoring. Pulse-to-pulse repeatability is within ±0.2% up to 300Hz, and stored energy is less than 0.3J across all models.
