The ACS breakaway coupling excludes any tensile load on the loading line and was developed for loading processes where breakaway couplings with breaking pin technology cannot be used. It’s the choice for fragile hose lines that’s release is independent from operation pressure, hence it is also suitable when pressure is not constant. The system of cable triggering separates the line when the mobile unit exceeds a defined radius of motion. Both coupling halves are equipped with a non-return valve each that allows he line to close impermeably when it is separated and to prevent the medium from escaping into the environment.
