OMEGAs High Impact (ABS) Plastic Handles (SDX) and Heavy Duty Aluminum Probe Handles (HDX) provide a fast, easily connected system of handheld probes for a broad range of applications. Sensing elements can be quickly changed or replaced in the field without tools.
One handle and several probes can create a complete test system, adding little weight and taking little space in your tool box. All probe handles are supplied with a one-foot retractable cord (stretches to five feet).
The SDX High Impact Plastic Probe Handle, made of ABS, can be used with standard (OST) and subminiature (SMP) probes. The retractable cable can be fitted with either a standard or subminiature (SMP) connector, for use with panel systems, handheld thermometers or other devices. In addition, the SDX is rated to 70C (160F).
The HDX Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum Probe Handle can be used with both standard (OST) two-prong connectors and with three-prong (OTP) connectors. For RTDs and Thermistors, the retractable cable can be fitted with a phone plug or series TA3 connectors for mating to many handheld thermometers.
