Many laboratories need to measure the particle size of their samples in dispersants other than water and need to minimize the solvent usage as much as possible. In some cases, sample materials are not plentiful and a smaller volume sample dispersion unit is a practical choice to minimize sample consumption. (Not suitable for heavy, dense or magnetic materials.)
