The SPS5083X is a single-channel programmable switching DC power supply with a rated output voltage of 80 VDC and a rated output current of 45 A, delivering up to 1080 W of power. It features a 2.4-inch OLED display, adjustable voltage and current slew rates, 1 mV and 1 mA setting and readback resolution, and support for list sequencing with up to 50 steps. The unit includes CV/CC priority modes, remote sensing, over-voltage, over-current, over-power, and over-temperature protection, and standard interfaces for USB and LAN, with an optional USB-GPIB module. It supports 1/2, 1/3, or 1/6 rack mount sizes and includes an embedded web server for browser-based remote control. The power supply has a transient response time of less than 1 ms for load changes from 50% to 100% and offers remote voltage compensation up to 0.6 V per wire.

The SPS5000X series of power supplies includes sixteen models with voltages to 160 VDC and power to 1080 W. SPS5000X power supplies can be connected in series (2 units) or in parallel (3 units) to meet the requirements of 0~320V and 0~270A, with a maximum combined power of 3240W.
