The Chorus™ SiT91285 is a programmable, high-performance automotive grade clock generator engineered for PCI Express Generation 1 to 5 and Ethernet applications where reliability and environmental robustness are critical. It can be configured to provide up to four 100 MHz, 125 MHz, 156.25MHz differential outputs. Additionally, one or more outputs can also be configured to provide LVCMOS clock references at commonly used frequencies in automotive applications. The SiT91285 integrates SiTime’s MEMS resonator, eliminating the need for an external oscillator or resonator. This integrated MEMS improves system reliability by eliminating traditional clock generators’ dependence on quartz and its associated issues like high failure rates and matching requirements. The device can be configured to provide common output frequencies with differential outputs (HCSL/LP-HCSL) or single-ended outputs (LVCMOS). The outputs can have separate power rails and output enables (OE).
