SiTime Symphonic™ SiT30100 is an advanced, low-power, high-performance mobile clock generator with four clock outputs. The device integrates a MEMS resonator, temperature sensor and a temperature-to-digit al converter (TDC), which eliminates the need for external crystal and temperature-sensing crystal resonators. The SiT30100 is packaged in a 10-pin chip-scale package (CSP) that occupies a tiny 2.22 mm2 area, enabling smaller, more dense systems. Each device is tested over temperature, with frequency-vs-tempera ture (FvT) characteristics saved to the device’s internal non-volatile memory (NVM) as polynomial coefficients and are accessible through a UART-compatible I/O interface. These features facilitate system stability as low as ±0.5 ppm which meets the requirements of modern 5G, RF and GNSS chipsets. The excellent thermal coupling of resonator and TDC—combined with fast temperature conversions—deliver world-class dynamic performance in the presence of fast temperature ramp rates.
