The MMKP84 series comprises box-type, double-sided metallized polypropylene film capacitors for high-voltage pulse applications such as automotive lighting and ballasts. They feature low loss, minimal internal heating, a negative capacitance temperature coefficient, and flame resistance per GB/T 14579 (IEC 60384-17). Rated for -40°C to 105°C operation with derating above 85°C, voltage ratings range from 250 Vac to 900 Vac (up to 2500 Vdc). Capacitance values span 0.00022 µF to 0.12 µF with tolerances of ±2% to ±20%. Maximum pulse rise time (dv/dt) reaches 8000 V/µs at 700 Vac. Lead pitches are 10 mm, 15 mm, 22.5 mm, or 27.5 mm. Case dimensions range from 13.0 mm to 33.0 mm in height and 13.0 mm to 32.0 mm in length, depending on voltage and capacitance.
