The A17301 is a three-wire zero-speed differential peak-detecting sensor IC with continuous calibration, designed for digital ring-magnet or ferromagnetic target sensing in applications such as speedometers and tachometers. It is housed in a 3-pin SIP package and operates with a supply voltage from 4 to 26.5 V, featuring an open-drain output capable of sourcing up to 30 mA. The device supports differential magnetic input fields from 20 to 1200 G pk-pk and operates at frequencies up to 10 kHz, with output duty cycle precision within ±15% across the operating temperature range of -40 to 160°C. Integrated capacitors enhance EMC performance, and the IC includes automatic offset and gain calibration for air-gap independence and immunity to target anomalies. The package is lead-free with matte-tin plating.
