Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics “Transband® ” is an endless PTFE creepage band which was designed and tested to meet the demanding requirements encountered in many DC motor applications. The Saint-Gobain Transband® was developed more than 30 years ago and are still the product of choice for many of the leading DC motor manufactures today.

Reduces creepage surface
Endless PTFE rings reduces potential of loosening caused by whipping
No butt joint to hold carbon dust particles that could cause an electrical shorting of motor
Two easy to install designs available -- stretch on and memorized
Useable on new and rebuilt motors
Superior to an epoxy surface which takes longer to install and often develops surface cracks
