AmberCut™ 416 is a water soluble, synthetic lapping vehicle specifically formulated for the free abrasive lapping of silicon, ceramic and metal substrates. It has demonstrated the exceptional ability to improve surface finish and warp while lowering TTV and scratch defect rates. When used with AmberLap™ S600, AmberCut 416 has the unique ability to suspend and disperse aluminum oxide and FO abrasives at low dynamic viscosities. The resulting slurries are very stable suspensions that are not shear sensitive. Additionally, this unique formula is biodegradable, prevents plate corrosion, rinses easily with water, and will not leave films or residues.
