The Sonic-SDI sensors are mounted on a 310mm/16mm diameter aluminum post with a mounting bracket and supplied with an 82ft (25m) length cable. For the Sonic-SDI model the following data sets are available for the SDI-12 protocol (version 1.3 functions without CRC):Average speed and direction over a 10-minute sample period Minimum wind speed and direction for that period Maximum wind speed (gust) and direction for that period Software version and serial number Data measurement quality rate from the sensor Data for sensor diagnostic (manufacturer use only) 2.9 mA consumption for sensor power-up 3.6 mA peak consumption when SDI-12 is requested The Sonic-SDI wind sensor offers high accuracy and low power consumption making it ideal for the most demanding wind sensing applications.
