QSB-50-01 is a 50mm EMI filter shield made of high-grade steel (material No. 1.4310) with a thickness of 0.2mm, designed to prevent filter intake into a fan and to shield against EMI/RFI emissions. It can be mounted on either side of a panel housing. Its dimensions are 2.047 inches (52.0 mm) in length, 1.575 inches (40.0 mm) in width, with perforation details including R=0.118 inches (3.0 mm), E=0.138 inches (3.5 mm), and F=0.008 inches (0.2 mm).

The filter guard EMI-shield sheet is required to avoid intake of the filter into the fan should there
be only one large air intake opening. It also protects against EMI/RFI transmissions if needed. The
EMI filter shield can be mounted on the inside or the outside of the panel housing.
