The ProLinx family A-B Remote I/O Adapter to DNP 3.0 Slave communications module (5601-RIO-DNPS) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Remote I/O network and DNP devices. The module is a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted protocol gateway that provides one configurable serial port and one RIO port. The RIO interface is an adapter (slave) which can be connected to a scanner (master) that controls the data transfer. The module also supports limited high speed data transfer via the Input and Output images. The DNP 3.0 Slave protocol driver supports Slave implementations of the protocol on one port. This port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility.
