The VBM050V-CP is a 1/2" Series VBM vacuum breaker constructed of Corzan® CPVC with FKM seals, designed to prevent vacuum-induced tank collapse, siphoning of hazardous fluids, and damage to instruments by maintaining a bubble-tight seal. It operates at a maximum working pressure of 100 PSI at 75°F (6.9 bar at 24°C) and is rated for temperatures up to 40°F at 180°F and 220°F (82°C and 104°C). The unit features a normally-closed, diaphragm-based design with no wetted metals and threaded connection standard. It is ISO 9001-2015 certified and intended for installation at the highest point in enclosed systems or in a U-bend for anti-siphon applications.
Series VB/VBM Patented diaphragm design assures dependable, repetitive, bubble-tight sealing to protect enclosed tanks from collapse or structural damage during draining. Also eliminates siphoning of dangerous fluids,and prevents vacuum damage to sensitive instruments and filters. 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ in a wide range of materials and connection types.
Series VBS PFA encapsulated spring and special poppet provide performance identical to VB/VBM with same protection for tanks and piping systems against hazards, damage and financial losses caused by unwanted vacuum conditions. 1-1/2″ to 4″ sizes in a wide range of materials and connection types.
