The BSO4-632-30 is a blind threaded standoff designed for installation into stainless steel sheets with a minimum thickness of 0.040 inches. This product utilizes a self-clinching design, allowing for permanent mounting in thin materials. It is made from precipitation-hardened stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance comparable to 300 series stainless steel, making it suitable for applications exposed to corrosive environments. The standoff features internal threads that facilitate stacking or spacing applications. Proper installation requires specific tooling and adherence to guidelines to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues such as thread binding.
These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
Types BSO4 standoffs are for installation into stainless steel sheets as thin as .040”.
