Series wound motors can be wound for either AC or DC power supply, are designed for reversing as standard, with speed varying inversely with the load when in operation.
The SD12 Series Range is a series-wound AC/DC motor that features a motor speed between 4000 rpm. The motor comes in a 24V variation and has a watt output of 125W. The SD12 series works continuously between 0.30 Nm of torque, the motor can then be paired with a Parvalux gearbox for increased torque demands. The motor weighs 3.5 Kg and is rated at IP50 to protect the motor against dust and water to ensure a long life span.
