PCE-WP21 Concrete Absolute Moisture Meter For noninvasive, nondestructive moisture measurements of concrete construction and building materials PCE-WP21 is a concrete absolute moisture meter used to perform noninvasive, nondestructive moisture measurements of concrete construction and building materials. An ideal tool for assessing the drying and curing of concrete slabs, footings, foundations, floors and more, this moisture meter uses electromagnetic waves that penetrate approximately 50 mm / 1.96 inches deep to return a mean-value moisture content percentage. To measure, simply select either light concrete or normal concrete on the meter and place the meter's electrodes on the concrete surface. Light concrete has a density between 1.6 ... 1.8 kg/dm3 or 0.058 ... 0.065 lb/in3. Normal concrete has a density between 1.8 ... 2.4 kg/dm3 or 0.065 ... 0.086 lb/in3. For accurate results, be sure to calibrate the instrument before each use according to the instructions outlined in the user manual.
