Automatic mode Place the beaker on a stand on the base and press start. The Krebs spindle will lower to the correct position automatically. The viscometer will run a fully automated test using shear rate to measure the viscosity of the fluid in the beaker, and the LCD digital display will show the test results. Upon completion of the test, the Krebs spindle will return to the start position to allow the beaker to be removed. Manual mode Manual operation is recommended when testing the viscosity of abnormally sized samples.
