A Fresnel Beamsplitter has a linear structure with two facets of opposite slope angles. The light is split into two beams and the included angle between the two beams is referred to as the separation angle.
The designs can be trimmed according to customer requirements (within limits of clear aperture). Optical coatings for increased efficiency are possible.
